The Perfect Fit, Professional Development, YWCA Allentown
At the Perfect Fit for Working Women, a program of the YWCA Allentown, more than 500 women each year find the clothing and confidence necessary to start a job and build a career.
At a woman’s first visit to the Perfect Fit, she is greeted by a personal stylist who helps her shop from our well-stocked boutique of women’s professional and business casual clothing to select the perfect outfit to ace her job interview.
Once she gets the job, our client returns for a full week’s worth of clothing perfectly suited to her new career and does not have to spend her first paycheck on a new work wardrobe.
We carry business professional, business casual, casual, and uniform clothing, as well as shoes, jewelry, handbags, accessories, and personal care items to ensure that all women returning to work have what they need to be successful in their new careers.
More than clothing, we offer professional development courses in areas including networking, effective communication, self-care in the workplace, and business basics, while serving each woman with the respect and dignity she deserves.
Since 2000, we have served more than 12,000 women, all referred to us by more than 50 social service partners in the Lehigh Valley.

Donations are accepted at the Perfect Fit Monday-Friday, by appointment only, to allow us to focus on serving our clients with the level of care and attention they deserve.
Please call (610) 871-5060 to schedule a drop-off time.
For corporate or group clothing drives, please call (610) 871-5060 in advance of your event to coordinate.
Donations may be dropped off at our entrance facing the Allentown Arts Walk. Please note that the Hamilton Street entrance of the building is currently closed, and we are unable to accept donations through this entrance or from cars parked on Hamilton Street.
To drop off donations
Follow 6th Street to Linden Street
Turn LEFT on Linden Street
Take your FIRST LEFT onto N Emery Street (the alley before the ArtsWalk Parking Garage)
At the top of the street, turn RIGHT onto the Allentown ArtsWalk
Stop in front of the garage and call us at (610) 871-5060 and we will meet you at your car to retrieve your donation.
To EXIT to Hamilton Street:
Continue straight and turn LEFT onto N Church Street (before Frutta Bowl)
